Science - investigating switches

In science we have been learning about circuits and investigating different components to see the changes.  We have also been investigating switches.  We made our own switches using a clothes peg and paper fasteners.  We learned that a switch works by making or breaking the circuit.

Day of snow 18th December 2013

Well done to all those year 6s who made it in today!  We had a great time playing in the snow at break time and the school council and house captains helped Mr Burton make a fantastic Cabot snowman at lunch time.  Enjoy the week end but take care in the bad weather.  Remember no school on Monday - see you all Tuesday!
